Something I need to note is how I got the lighting for these
shoots as it might be needed in the future. I have a light aimed at a white
background that I change the gel of when needed. This is placed off the
background and aimed at it but trying to cover as much of the white background as
possible. The model is placed well away from the background so that none of the
light from the gel hits the model in any way. There is a large polystyrene
board (white) placed beside the model, this is to reflect the light coming from
the light on the opposite side and bounce it onto the models face to try and
get an even exposure using only one light. I also have a polystyrene board places
with the black side going along with the light. This is to stop the light
hitting the backdrop and making it aim at the model. I also use a reflector
under the models face on the side that isn't facing the light. This is just to
direct light again into her face and make sure there isn't any harsh shadows
created by her nose etc.
