Logos/Branding

This is the logo that I made previously. I feel again that this was really a rush job and something that I wouldn’t want to represent me. I have decided against creating a logo and simply using my name as the branding.

This was also another example of a logo that i was intending to use. However i have since decided against that. I am also beginning to think that the use of colour in my logo is something that i don't really want to do. I would prefer it to be black and white. This is also appropriate as its the style of photography i most enjoy (black and white film)

Below are just a few examples of what other photographers have used as a logo. I thought this would be helpful as it will give me an idea of what i could do and what works well. 

One thing that all of these logos have in common is a mix of text and imagery. This is something that i hadn't really thought about up until now. However my favourite is still the logo for 'Louis Renoh" this is the direction i would like to go in.
