Artist Research - Zoltan Huszti

These are perfect examples of the work that I want to be looking at for this project. The idea of having a shot on location, the idea at the moment is where I image my subjects being, and then a shot that is just on a black backdrop with the detail in the face of the subject. I have picked out some images from this photographer that best picks up on this and expresses some great inspiration.

These shots are all amazing, I like the way that the photographer has the subjects sat down and looking at the camera. This gives you perspective of who they are and where there from.  They are all quite dark and from what I can see the lighting may indicate natural lighting, as there isn’t any evidence of harsh flashes through shadows, So maybe from a window? I like this use of light and its something that I have tried in previous shoots.

Maybe would have to think about composition though, as this looks really nice, and I like the use of the landscape framing, however I am using square format.

These are more of the close up images that show the detail in the subjects face. I think that by eliminating the background you don’t get distracted and really focus on the person instead. If I was to do this however I want to capture really bright eyes that are full emotion, so if the subject did have glasses I would maybe ask them to take them off, as although I like the reflections in the glasses, I think that this takes away from the eyes.
