More Enlargements - Shoot 1

I decided to make more enlargements from my first contact sheet of my granddad. The reason being is I feel really happy with the outcome of the shoot and I wanted to enlarge as many as possible so that I can get a true feel for the image, make sure I like the composition is how I want it to be, but most of all make sure that they are in focus.

In these two images I have been able to capture action shots. The framing is the same in both shots with the same lighting. Just different movement by the model. Really liking the natural lighting coming through the window. Highlighting the subject. Could have really done with maybe a light or reflector on the other side so he’s lit from the other angle too, highlight his facial features.

Another family shot, showing the love that my granddad has and how much he cares for us all. I like this as he’s trying to explain something to Matilda, she clearly has no clue. J

So far I think that this is defiantly one of my favourite shots, and possibly one of the final images. I like the frame and the positioning of the model, the way that we can see the surrounding area. I also like the bleached out light coming through the window, I think that it makes the viewer focus more on the subject rather than what’s going on around him.
