I really like the crop on this image. its really close in and basically all it is showing is the face in much detail. I like the soft tone to the image think this is because of the light colours of both her hair and skin tone as well as the colour of the hat. Really nice neutral feel to it. I like the catch lights in Ellie's eyes, i would like to know how this is done because it really lights up her eyes and makes them piercing in the picture (anyone know what type of connection is used).

Both these images as well have really soft lighting. i really like the lighting on the back ground as it gives a soft/natural feel to it. It isn't too bleached out and bright. I like the shadows under the models chins as i think that this gives them a bit more depth and doesn't make them appear as flat in my opinion. Really quite subtle standard portraiture images.
