- The reason that i shot in RAW is so that the data is exactly how it was when the image was taken. When shooting in JPEG it will compress my image down to pixels that groups colours that are close together. This will mean loss of detail in my images. I don't make the decisions the camera does it for me.
- The image is not compressed, not sharped automatically or the contrast edited.
- To process the image i can use software such as Light Room, Capture one or even camera RAW. The one that i have been advised and also shown how to use is Light Room.
- After i have edited images as needed or necessary in light room i can then turn my images into TIFF or JPEG form depending on what they are needed for. This programme will create them as this format as well as keeping the original.

Notes to help me
I posted a post earlier in the project about RAW files and what they were. I'm still not too sure but here's a few notes just for myself so i can re-visit later if needed.
