A brief with the concept of creating ‘selfies’
has really taught me a lot. Normally if I have an idea of what I want to
capture, I can use an image and fit the model in with the image. This gives me
creative freedom and doesn’t limit my possibilities. However in this brief I am
the model. This has created an obstacle. Instead of being able to mould the
model and styling to fit the image that I want to create, I have had to find an
image/images that suit my look and the idea that I would be able to create
them. This is a new skill that is really a valuable one and has given me a new
perspective on things.
